This traffic impact study looked at a mixed-use development in southwest Cedar Falls, Iowa. The site is proposed to consist of townhomes, a hotel, gas station, and retail. At the time of the study, Viking Road was programmed to undergo construction for widening to a four-lane roadway, and our analysis determined that turn lanes were needed at the project driveways. We also analyzed a nearby signal and recommended lengthening a left-turn lane to accommodate backups.
